Sarah Hohman, MPH, CRHCP

Sarah was hired by Capitol Associates in June of 2021, primarily dedicated to the firm’s rural health portfolio, which includes her role as the Director of Government Affairs for the National Association of Rural Health Clinics (NARHC), where she leads both regulatory and legislative policy efforts on behalf of the organization. Broadly, Sarah advocates for reimbursement policies that incentivize and support rural primary care and other health services.
Sarah frequently speaks at rural health conferences across the country, providing direct technical assistance and education to clinics and their parent hospitals. Her presentations include Federal Policy Updates for RHCs, Telehealth Policy, and Good Faith Estimate Policy.
Sarah’s passion for rural health issues was sparked by her experiences growing up in rural Pennsylvania and was fostered through internships with the Pennsylvania Office of Rural Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Sarah is a graduate of Penn State University, where she earned a B.S. degree in Health Policy and Administration. She earned her Master of Public Health degree from the Penn State College of Medicine. Sarah resides in Alexandria, VA and enjoys traveling, cooking, and any activity that allows her to explore the great outdoors.
