Jeffrey joined Capitol Associates in January of 2024, primarily dedicated to the firm’s rural health portfolio, which includes his role as the Deputy Director of Government Affairs for the National Association of Rural Health Clinics (NARHC). In this role, he is advancing the NARHC’s legislative agenda on Capitol Hill and dedicated to improving rural health services.

Jeffrey came to CAI after five years working for U.S. Senator Angus S. King, Jr., specifically focusing on the economic and appropriations portfolios. In that capacity, he addressed issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic and helped secure hundreds of millions of dollars for Congressionally Directed Spending (CDS) projects in Maine—including numerous improvements to rural health care.

Jeffrey is a graduate of the University of Maine, where he earned a B.A. in Political Science. Growing up in Maine—the oldest state in the nation by median age, and one of the most rural—gave him a firsthand look at the importance of quality health care in rural America. Jeffrey’s using that insight, and his experience on Capitol Hill, to further the important goals of CAI’s rural health clients.
